Nexen seeks Scott pipeline replacement
Nexen UK has applied to replace a section of flowline on its ageing UK North Sea Scott field.
Nexen is seeking a permit to replace a section of the 24-inch Scott oil export line running a total of 7.4 km (4.6 miles).
The new section is to run downstream from the flange of the existing Scott riser tie in flange and the mechanical connector with the existing pipeline. The replacement section will comprise rigid tie-in spools.
