SBM tapped for Ichthys LNG FPSO turret
Single Buoy Moorings has been booked to supply the turret mooring system for the FPSO destined for the Ichthys field FPSO offshore Australia.
SBM has been tapped to supply both the turret and mooring system for the LNG FPSO offshore North West Australia
And the deal is worth “around” US $0.5 million, SBM said today.
The Ichthys LNG FPSO is to be moored in a water depth of 250 metres (820 feet) , in the Browse Basin, off north west Australia and 820 km (512 miles) from Darwin.
Installation of the turret and mooring system is due mid 2015.
